Deborah Devaux is Chief Operating Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the largest private health plan in Massachusetts and one of the largest independent, not-for-profit Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in the country. The company has more than $7 billion in revenue, serves nearly 3 million members, and is rated among the nation’s best health plans for overall member satisfaction and quality.
She is responsible for IT & Operations, Member & Provider Services, Health & Medical Management, Performance Measurement and Improvement, Pharmacy and Consumer Solutions, and Network Management & Contracting.
Deb joined Blue Cross in 2000. She has worked in health care management for more than 25 years including leadership positions at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and its predecessors, Ernst & Young, and BDC Advisors, a health care strategy consulting firm.
She has a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
